It started how most things start – with a Pinterest post. It had all these cute little pregnancy pictures with hand drawn chalkboards and baby bumps garnished with appropriately sized fruits. I figured a blog might be easier than answering 750 texts every week about whether or not I was sick, or tired, or having twins or still pregnant. So, Oh Baby Richards was born. Just about nine months before actual baby Richards was born.

Unfortunately pregnancy doesn’t magically transform your totally average life into a Pinterest-worthy picture so…within these pages you’ll find pregnancy pics, political commentary, home renovations, a whole lot of mom guilt and whatever else I need a soapbox for. It’s 60% snark, 30% sweet, and 10% super sappy.
